Since coming runner up in the BBC RADIO 1 FATBOY SLIM competition back in 2004, Egoiste has been rising up through the ranks of House DJs. Providing full fr…ontal, good times music from funky through to tech fueled beats.

An Ibizan regular, he’s featured at all events on the island including sets at Cream at Amnesia, Manumission at Privilege and repeat sets at Judgement Sundays at Eden!

He has progressed from his first residency in 2001 at XTRA in Kettering, to wowing the biggest dancefloors in clubland such as AMNESIA, PRIVILEGE, EDEN and ES PARADIS in IBIZA, as well famous UK venues such as the BRIXTON ACADEMY, KOKO, TURNMILLS, GATECRASHER and AIR.

Having played for a vast majority of the most influential brands out there, Egoiste’s list of achievements rivals those the largest djs on the planet have to offer. Influenced by disco and piano house, Egoiste takes that sound and transforms it into the chunky clubby beats, both promoters and clubbers alike want to hear.

As an experienced promoter, he co-promoted FUNKdeluxe in the UK and Ibiza for 5 years and Kinky U before that, with each year bringing the largest number of people to the Island in one action packed holiday!

RICH SORTWELL

After starting DJing in 2003 after years of loving Gatecrasher Rich Sortwell started out playing Trance and Hard house while he was living in Sheffield, this soon lead on to playing techno.

Rich Sortwell’s first DJ sets were at free party’s in various fields across the country, playing full on techno to other party goers! After moving on from the free party scene Rich played some smaller gigs then took a break from DJing.

Summer 2006 found a reinvented love for DJing in the form of electro house, Rich was soon made resident for TUNED inLondonand played various other electro gigs travelling toIbizafor gigs aswell.

In 2008 Rich Sortwell has moved on again to a broader range of house, Playing from funky house all the way through to tech house and minimal techno and is now resident for Disco Dirt www.discodirt.co.uk a new night bringing House music to Northamptonshire.

In 2009 the production front has taken off, Rich Sortwell has tracks coming out very soon on Engage Recordings, As well as tracks coming out on StupidStereo Records as part of the duo ‘RJ Complex’ which is Rich Sortwell and Joe Kinsella…
